The Director General, All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council in Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon. Richard Osaseyi has reacted to the apex court verdict which dismissed the suit by Senator Smart Adeyemi, former Governorship Aspirant, challenging the primary election that produced Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo.
Hon. Osaseyi in a statement made available to Newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, described the verdict as cheerful, heartwarming and a welcome development.
According to him, the decision of the apex court to uphold the verdict of the High and Appeal Courts has reaffirmed the confidence of the people in the Judiciary as the last hope of the common man.
He stated that with the victory, it is now crystal clear that the APC is going to emerge victorious come November 11th.
Hon. Osaseyi, who is the General Manager, Kogi State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KOSSAA), urged Senator Smart Adeyemi to toll the part of honour, sheath his sword and take the judgement as an act of God and with the spirit of sportsmanship.
Hon. Osaseyi expressed optimism that Alh. Ododo will win convincingly at the polls as the party in Ijumu, Kogi West and the State is more united to ensure that APC sustain Lugard House.
