The attention of my office has been drawn to rumours making the round that Kogi State Government through the State Science, Technical Education and Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM) has commenced issuance of appointment letters to “successful Applicants.”
This is not true as such has not been done. There are processes according to the Recruitment Advertisement placed of The Graphic Newspaper and some online Media for the employment of teachers such as aptitude test, interview and so on.
I wouldn’t reacted to this but for the sake of the good people of our dear State, we have not started issuing appointment letters to anyone as the rumour must be totally disregarded.
All applicants will be notified especially those that are shortlisted for interview in due course. We urge them to be patient and not give money to anyone in the name of getting appointment.
Anyone that demand money for employment should be reported to security agencies or my office and i can assure you that they will be sanctioned according to the law.
