The Ologidi of Ogidi Kingdom in Ijumu Local Government Area, Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule has expressed his profound appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for the recent upgrade of his stool from second class to first class status.
Oba Sule in a statement described the upgrade as a dream come through, saying the entire Ogidi community received the news with all joy.
According to him, with the gesture, Governor Bello has written his name on gold and the history of the Community, noting that Ogidi people owe him appreciation and gratitude.
Oba Sule promised to use his new position to promote peace and tranquility which are hallmarks of development and progress.
He thanked the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Alh. Usman Ododo, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Salami Ozigi and political office holders from the Community for facilitating the upgrade.
The Traditional Ruler enjoined Ogidi sons and daughters to remain law abiding and sustain the existing peace in the community.
