A Non Governmental Organisation, Kayode Durotiwon Foundation has again, put smiles on the faces of the elderly women, Widows and less privileged in some Communities in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State by distributing rice to them to enable them enjoy the festive season.
The distribution which was part of the finals of the Kayode Durotiwon Foundation Football Competition held at Okoro-Gbede High School Field was peaceful and orderly.
The gesture was also to enable the beneficiaries in Okoro Gbedde, Odokoro Gbedde, Araromi Gbede and Iyara, headquarters of the Local celebrate Christmas, the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Speaking during the distribution of the rice, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Mr. Kayode Daniel Durotiwon, said he is committed to giving helping hands to the needy in the society at all times, hence his resolve to support beneficiaries with the token.
Mr. Durotiwon praised women for always playing active role at ensuring good upbringing of their children and Wards, stressing that the home plays critical role in all spheres of life.
He enjoined them to sustain their prayers for their children, Communities, State and the Nation at large.
The beneficiaries showered praises on Mr. Kayode Daniel Durotiwon for coming to their aide at this critical moment, praying to God to continually increase him on all sides.
