Ahead of 2023 general elections, the National Women Leader of All Progressives Congress, (APC), Dr. Beta Edu has urged women to up their game and be focused on attaining victory in less than 37 days to the presidential election

Dr Beta gave the advice during a meeting with representatives of 36 states APC Progressives Young Women Forum on Thursday in Abuja

The women leader, who appreciated their commitment and dedication accross the 36 states charged them to improve on their campaign strategies by taking it to the grassroots as politics is more pronounced in the locality.

She encouraged them to be more focus on working for the party, saying their loyalty should be to the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu and the party by delivering victory at the poll.

She enjoined them to leverage on both the traditional and social media by working to ensure their voices are heard using all available media platforms to share the programs and activities of the party.

Dr Beta advised them.to shurn rivalry that could possibly lead to misunderstanding and division between members of the Forum, imploring them to strive to add value by investing for the success of the party.

“The last two weeks to this election we have three programs to put pressure on the polity. These are: The flag off of the canvassers, the door to door and Tinubu’s Area intervention. Our target is to go to the hard to reach areas but with huge voter registration for the victory of our party.

“We are not going to be Abuja based any longer, we will deliver our message, party logo, and other things required from door to door.

“It is 37 days to the presidential election, we must work harder and sacrifice more.

In a remark, the women leader of the APC Gida Gida support group, Hon. Doyin Eshanomi of kogi west tasked the young women to concentrate their campaign more on the grassroot women as they are the more reliable.

Hon. Doyin who believe that women hardly compromise on their choice of candidates gave an instance of her experience at her Federal Constituency in Kogi State where electorates vowed to vote for a party because of the candidate’s empowerment programmes that have direct positive effects on the citizens.

In her closing remark, the National President of the Proogressive women Forum, Mrs Seun Ayodele, who appreciated the motherly care the forum has been enjoying right from her assumption of office pledged their total alligence to the party at all time and promised to engage in a more agreassive campaign withing the 37 days left for victory at the poll.
