The Kogi West All Progressives Congress Flag bearer, Hon. Sunday Karimi has reiterated that his pact with the people is to attract infrastructure and economic development.

The Senatorial hopeful in a statement titled; ” MY PACT WITH THE KOGI WEST PEOPLE“, assured the people of Kogi West Senatorial District that his representation will redefine representation and service to the people.

According to Hon. Karimi, one of the biggest challenges in a political space is TRUST, lamented that people now see politicians as people who make promises just to win elections, after which the people are neglected.

He however assured that as Senator representing Kogi West, said he will be coming from a track record with a delivery pedigree that the people are quite familiar with.

I was in the House of Representatives for two terms and in that Federal Constituency, we are now campaigning with what those opportunities afforded us to do for our people.

“Going into the Senate, the stakes are expected to be higher. Our Senatorial District has three Federal Constituencies. We must unite our people with the spirit of equity, justice and fairness in sharing opportunities”.

Hon. Karimi said “long before the primary election, “I and my team had gone round the Senatorial District, not just to talk to the people on his intentions; but to also look at the needs of the people. For each Ward, Local Government, Federal Constituency and the entire District, we have documented the major needs of the people”.

We did not stop at that. We have also drawn up an Action Plan to ensure we deliver on our promises to the people. The people shouldn’t just be important for elections alone, they deserve good representation, good roads, good medical facilities, empowerment and many other dividends of democracy.

While paying glowing tribute to all previous Senators Kogi West Senatorial District have produced, said they have done their best in building a solid foundation, insisting that it is time to blaze the trail, promised that he will do even better, learning from the past.

Hon. Karimi commended the leader of the State and the All Progressives Congress party, Gov. Yahaya Bello for his numerous projects within the Senatorial District and his promise to do more, promised he will continue to work closely with him as the leader to compliment his strides in the Senatorial District.

Hon. Karimi, who praised the people of Kogi West for not leaving Yagba Federal Constituency behind, assured that he will justify that Mandate based on Justice and Fairness.

While promising that he will continue to campaign hard and seek the support of the people for the APC in the coming elections, explained that it is an era of hope as the party is putting its best forward, from the Presidency down to the House of Assembly, to make Nigeria better.

While noting that he understands the challenges of Kogi West Senatorial District, promised to address them from his first day in the Red Chambers.

The Senatorial hopeful pledged to be accessible and submit to the franchise powers of the people, solicited that they pray along, as he set out, together with them, to make Kogi West proud.
