In a bid to light up her Constituency, the member representing Ijumu in Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Princess Omotayo Adeleye-Ishaya has commenced distribution of the first phase of 75 Solar Powered Street Lights to all the 15 Wards in her Constituency.
The move is part of her passion to provide illumination to all the Communities in the Local Government Area with a promise to do more in the next phase of the distribution of the street lights.

Speaking at the flag off of the items, the first Ijumu Female State Lawmaker expressed appreciation to the people of Ijumu Kingdom for the support given her since assumption of office in June 2023.
Prince Adeleye-Ishaya noted that despite the lean resources, she was able to execute the first phase of the Solar powered street lights, saying the lights were equitably distributed accordingly to Wards in the Area.
She assured of her commitment to providing more quality representation and use her position to attract dividends of democracy to the Constituency, urging the people not to relent in their support.
According to her, the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is working assiduously to make life easier and better for them and deserve prayers to enable him do more.
In another development, the Lawmaker met with the leadership and members of Ijumu Traditional Rulers Council where she briefed them on her scorecard.
The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom, Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni applauded Princess Omotayo Adeleye-Ishaya for doing an excellent job at the State Assembly and urged her tondo more.
He however used the opportunity to call on the Lawmaker to attract the attention of Government to cases of illegal mining in the Local Government which he noted was alarming.
Meanwhile, Princess Adeleye-Ishaya also donated cash to ward Chairmen and Women Leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC as well as those of the Local Government Chapter of the party.
