Ankpa Stakeholders Applaud KCOET For Conducting Seamless JAMB CBT Exam
In a commendable display of efficiency and preparedness, Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, successfully conducted the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organized by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The college served as one of the accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers, hosting hundreds of candidates with zero reported hitches.
From early registration checks to final paper submission, the exam process was executed with a focus on punctuality, orderliness, and technical stability. Candidates were ushered in through a structured verification system, ensuring compliance with JAMB’s biometric protocols and preventing impersonation.
The college’s ICT infrastructure was a key factor in the smooth conduct of the exam. With well-maintained computer systems, uninterrupted power supply, and a reliable internet connection, candidates were able to complete their papers without delays or disruptions. Technical support staff were on standby throughout the sessions, ready to intervene in the event of any challenges.
Speaking on the success of the exercise, Dr. Femi Paul Fashagba, the Provost of the College, noted, “We prepared thoroughly ahead of the exams, conducting mock drills and testing all systems. Our goal was to create a stress-free environment for the candidates—and we’re proud to have achieved that.”
Candidates who wrote the exam at the center also expressed satisfaction, praising the calm atmosphere, functional systems, and supportive staff.
With this seamless execution, Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa has demonstrated how preparation, infrastructure, and attention to detail can create a model CBT environment. As JAMB continues to standardize its exam processes nationwide, such centers serve as examples for others to follow.
