In a renewed drive to strengthen academic standards and broaden educational opportunities, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, the Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa has taken a proactive step by re-initiating the affiliation process between the College and Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba.
This strategic move is aimed at fostering collaborative efforts to offer degree and postgraduate programmes across various disciplines.

The renewed affiliation is expected to bolster academic capacity, enhance curriculum delivery, and provide students with access to quality university-certified qualifications without leaving their immediate academic environment.
Speaking on the development, Dr. Fashagba emphasized the importance of partnerships in advancing higher education and ensuring that institutions remain responsive to the dynamic needs of society.

The College and PAAU have a history of academic collaboration, and this revitalized engagement marks a new chapter in deepening that relationship. With both institutions committed to innovation and academic excellence, the affiliation is expected to take effect in the coming academic session, subject
to final approvals and accreditation protocols.
This all important engagement took place on the 22nd day of May, 2025 at the office of the vice chancellor Admin, Prof.Orugun Juwon Joshua.
Other management members of the Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, include: DVC Academics, prof. Oja Paul Egwu, University Registrar, Barrister Aliu Shegun and prof. Ajayi the institution DAP.
