Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, the Olugbadegun of Iyamoye who doubles as a former Kogi State governorship candidate, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh (Ariwajoye I), the revered Obaro of Iyamoye Kingdom.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Otunba Braimoh described the late monarch as “a peace-loving and visionary traditional ruler whose reign was marked by wisdom, humility, and an unwavering commitment to the progress of his people.”
He noted that “Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh was not only a custodian of the rich cultural heritage of Iyamoye but also a bridge-builder who worked tirelessly for unity, peace, and development across Ijumu Local Government and the Okun Nation at large.”
Otunba Braimoh further stated that the late Obaro’s demise leaves a great vacuum in the traditional and developmental leadership of the community, adding that his enduring legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
“The passing of His Royal Majesty is indeed a painful loss, not only to Iyamoye but to the entire Okunland. His reign was one of peace, progress, and wisdom. May Almighty God grant his noble soul eternal rest and comfort the royal family, the Iyamoye Traditional Council, and the entire community,” Otunba Braimoh concluded.
