The Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba has praised the leadership of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing his administration as progressive and committed to the advancement of education in the state.
Dr. Fashagba made the remarks during the matriculation ceremony of newly admitted students at the College of Education, where a fresh batch of students were formally inducted into the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programme.

In his address, the Provost commended Governor Ododo for prioritizing human capital development through sustained investments in the education sector.

He noted that the governor’s policies have continued to create opportunities for young people to access quality education, thereby positioning the state for long-term growth.
He also used the occasion to reaffirm his support for the Governor, urging stakeholders and residents of the state to rally behind the administration in its efforts to deliver democratic dividends.
Addressing the newly matriculated students, Dr. Fashagba encouraged them to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their academic pursuits.
He stressed that education remains a powerful tool for personal and societal transformation, urging them to take their studies seriously.

The event, which drew the presence of academic staff, dignitaries, parents, and well-wishers, marked an important milestone for the students as they begin their journey toward obtaining the NCE qualification.
The matriculation ceremony further underscored the commitment of the Kogi State Government to strengthening educational institutions and empowering the next generation under the leadership of Governor Ododo.
