The Ologidi of Ogidi Kingdom, Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule, has commended Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for appointing Chief Shuaib Ipinmisho as Special Adviser and releasing funds for the reconstruction of the Ogidi–Ayere Road.
In a letter of appreciation from the palace, addressed to the governor, the monarch said the appointment reflected Ododo’s commitment to inclusiveness, merit and homegrown leadership, describing it as a source of pride and hope for the people of Ogidi.
He also praised the governor’s approval of funds for the contractor handling the long-awaited Ogidi–Ayere Road project, noting that the road had for years remained a major concern for residents, serving as a vital link for commerce and community life.
“These two actions within this period have written your name in gold in the annals of Ogidi Kingdom. You have shown that you are a leader who listens, who cares, and who delivers,” the monarch stated.
Oba Sule, who spoke on behalf of the Ogidi Council of Chiefs and the entire kingdom, pledged the community’s continued loyalty and support to the Ododo administration, while praying for divine guidance for the governor.
