The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Land Matters and the Olukoko Arolupotopoto of Ogidi Kingdom, *Very High Chief Shuaib Ipinmisho*, will on *Saturday, 12th September, 2026* flag off a major *Empowerment and Community Outreach Programme* for members of the APC, residents of Igbolaere/Ilaere Ward, and constituents across Ijumu Oke.
The event, themed *“EMPOWERING CONSTITUENTS FOR A GREATER APC, A BETTER OGIDI COMMUNITY AND IJUMU OKE”*, will hold at the *Community Civic Center, Ogidi, Ijumu LGA by 10:00AM*.
According to Chief Ipinmisho, the initiative is designed to bring direct relief to the people and to further strengthen support for the APC-led administration at both state and federal levels.
“This gathering is not just about sharing resources. It is about sharing hope. It is about reaffirming our commitment to the people who are the true strength of our party and our democracy,” he stated.
*KEY INTERVENTIONS*
As part of the outreach, the following will be distributed:
1. *₦100,000 cash grant each* to deserving individuals to expand their trades and businesses.
2. *₦50,000 each to over 200 individuals*, including beneficiaries outside the ward, to cushion economic challenges.
3. *Provisions of rice* to several households at the grassroots.
4. *Essential farm inputs* to support hardworking farmers and boost food security in Ijumu Oke.
*APPRECIATION TO GOVERNMENT*
Chief Ipinmisho expressed profound appreciation to *His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA*, Governor of Kogi State, for mobilizing contractors back to site on the *Asaya-Ogidi-Ayere Road*, describing it as “the economic lifeline of our people.”
He also thanked the Governor for his elevation as Special Adviser on Land Matters and for giving strategic appointments to sons and daughters of Ogidi and Ijumu Oke.
He appealed to the Governor to consider more qualified and loyal party members from Ijumu Oke for further appointments to deepen the bond between government and the people.
*CALL FOR MASSIVE SUPPORT FOR APC CANDIDATES*
The Special Adviser urged party members to mobilize massively for upcoming elections. He called for total support for *President Bola Ahmed Tinubu*, *Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo*, and *Hon. Salman Idris* at the federal level.
For the *Kogi State House of Assembly*, he endorsed *Hon. Femi Esemikose* for Ijumu 1 and *Rt. Hon. Tayo Adeleya Ishaya* for Ijumu 2.
Ahead of the forthcoming *Local Government elections*, he canvassed votes for *Alh. Ibrahim Haruna* as Ijumu LGA Chairman and *Hon. Musa Ipinmisho, Esq.* as Councillor for Igbolaere/Ilaere Ward.
“We must vote APC from top to bottom. From President to Governor, to House of Representatives, to State Assembly, to Chairman and Councillor. That is how we secure total victory and total development for our people,” he said.
He further emphasized the need to plan for the return of Governor Ododo in the next election, noting that such loyalty will position an *Okun son to become Governor of Kogi State by 2032*.
The programme is being facilitated through personal resources, business ventures, support from friends and associates, and contributions from leaders including *Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji* and *Dr. Femi Fashagba*.
All party leaders, elders, women, youth, farmers, and the general public are invited to attend.
