The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom and Chairman Ijumu Local Government Traditional Council, HRM. Oba Dr. Williams Olusegun Ayeni has expressed condolences to the management of Federal University Lokoja over the unfortunate accident that claimed the lives of some of its students.
Oba Ayeni in a statement made available to Newsmen also sympathised with the families of students lost their children in the accident.

“On behalf of the people of Ijumu Local Government Area, I extend my sincere condolences to the families of Students who lost their lives in the ghastly motor accident involving an articulated vehicle. I received the news of the unfortunate incident with rude shock as the students, who would have been the Leaders of tomorrow were lost to the cold hands of death.
Our Heart is with the Vice Chancellor of FUL, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, other management Staff as well as students at this moment of grief.
The Ijumu Paramount Ruler while praying to God to grant those that have lost loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.
Oba Ayeni however urged key stakeholders to brainstorm and fashion out the best possible ways of bringing a lasting solution to the reoccurring accident along the Felele.
