KBI 2027: ADC Foundational Members Pass Vote of Confidence on Arc. Salman, Endorses Re-election Bid 

Foundation members, leaders and stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) across the 30 wards of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency have endorsed the member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Salman Idris for a second term in office.

The endorsement was announced at a stakeholders’ meeting led by the ADC Zonal Woman Leader, Hon. Olorunmola Funke Veronica.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Hon. Olorunmola said the endorsement was a demonstration of their confidence in Hon. Salman Idris whom they described as their own.

She explained that the stakeholders were part of the political process from its inception and had decided to come together to express their support for his continued representation.

According to her, the group was satisfied with the lawmaker’s performance and had resolved to rally behind him in his bid for a second term.

In his remarks, Hon. Salman Idris thanked the delegation who identified themselves as authentic and foundational members of the ADC for their show of support and confidence in his representation.

He also used the opportunity to appeal to the stakeholders to extend their support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Those in attendance included the ADC Zonal Woman Leader, ward chairmen, youth leaders, women leaders and other critical stakeholders drawn from across the 30 wards of the federal constituency.
