Christmas: Badaki Congratulates Christians, Harps on Prayer for National Peace and Development

An Hospitality Expert, Alh. Aliyu Badaki has congratulated Christians on the celebration of Christmas, a commemoration of the Birth of Jesus Christ.

Alh. Aliyu, the National President of Iyara Development Association IDA, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State made the remark in a statement obtained by The Drum Reporters on Sunday in Lokoja, the State Capital.

He stated that the birth of Christ brought hope to all no matter their race and background, hence the need to keep hope alive.

Alh. Aliyu emphasized the need for Christians to emulate the lessons of the birth of Christ, who according to him gave his life for humanity sake.

He urged them to use the occasion to pray for the peace, progress and development of Nigeria especially now that the nation is entering into an electioneering year.

He particularly felicitated with Iyara Christian Community on the celebration and wished them more blessings in the coming year.
