As the NEAT MicroCredit, a leading Micro Finance Facility celebrates its 6th Anniversary, the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of the Company, Mr. Omoniyi Salami has expressed gratitude to staff and customers for their support to the Finance Company.
Mr. Niyi in a Post on his verified Facebook Page also rolled out the success stories of the company which include, empowering 30,000 and employing 160 Staff.
The post reads “On the 4th of July NEAT Microcredit turned 6!! The little organization that we started 6 years ago has grown to become force in microfinancing in Nigeria.
“We have become the source of business support to over 30,000 women and source of livelihood to over 160 employees.
“Imagine that we expected everyone to believe in what we were building 6 years ago? Even we just took the plunge with determination, commitment and super human belief!!!
“Some of the few things I have learned over the last six years are; You don’t need to figure it all out, if you identify a consumer need and you are passionate to solve the problem, just start!!! You will learn more while you are acting than you can ever learn when you are planning.
He further states that “It’s important to have a big dream for your company. However, it’s more important to find a way to start small. It’s very unlikely that people will give you big money to gamble on your new idea. It’s very dangerous to start anything big because you might loose big!!!
“We all need help. However, I have learned over the last 5 years that you are likely going to get help while acting. All the help you need is waiting for you on the field. Just start!!
“Get mentors: if you think that the people that are doing better than you are just luckier than you, you are mistaken. People that are ahead of you most likely know something that you don’t know or know people that you don’t know.
“Be a man of great character: it doesn’t matter how intelligent and hardworking you are. If people can’t trust you to do whatever you said you will do, it’s just a matter of time, you will find yourself in a bad place.
“Be comfortable with pressure and discomfort; know this and know peace, anyone that is doing better than you is handling more pressure and discomfort than you.
“Believe in God and know that He is always eager to help more than you eager to receive His help if all you are trying to do is to make your life and that of everyone around you better. Know without a doubt that you are helping God to do His work and He will always come to your aid.
