The Personal Assistant to Kogi State Commissioner of Education, Science, and Technology, Comrade Rufus Obafemi has expressed appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for upgrading the stool of Ologidi of Ogidi in Ijumu Local Government to a first-class status.

Comrade Obafemi also congratulated the Ologidi, Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule on his well-deserved promotion to a first-class king.

The Personal Assistant, who is a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ileteju/Origa Ward, noted that with the upgrade, the Governor has written his name on gold in the history of Ogidi land and prayed to God to reward him.

The Ologidi, he explained is a humble Traditional Ruler, who is loved by his people as well as all lovers of Culture and Tradition because of the annual Ogidi Day Festival, Nigeria’s Biggest Event in June.

Comrade Obafemi prayed for a Long life for the Monarch as well as good health to enable him to reign on the throne of his ancestors.

He called on Ogidi sons and daughters to unite and come together for the progress, peace, and development of the Community.
