Your Administration has Been Impactful, Kogi Assembly Clerk Celebrates Gov. Bello @ 7th Anniversary

The Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ahmed Sule Chogudo has congratulated His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, the Deputy Governor,Chief Edward Onoja, Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Ayoade Folashade Arike and the entire members of his cabinet on the 7th anniversary of his assumption of office, pointing out that the governor’s achievements in the last seven years have permanently changed the narrative of the state.

by the Director Information of Kogi State House if Assembly, Aka Adebayo Michael.

Ahmed Chogudo said it was heartwarming that the heights of achievements recorded by the legislative arm in the state were as a result of Governor Bello’s good will and effort to put in place good governance.

The Clerk particularly referred to the legislative autonomy which is waiting for President Muhammadu Buhari’s assent, saying Governor Bello created enabling environment for Kogi Lawmakers to work on the Constitution amendment, granted administrative autonomy to Kogi State House of Assembly before other governors and established the Assembly Service Commission which was lacking since creation of the state.

He appreciated the Governor for the recent approval given to Kogi State House of Assembly to appoint two more Deputy Clerks which are equivalent of Permanent Secretaries in the Civil Service, adding that the approval would henceforth give room for more staff to reach the peak of their careers.

Chogudo further stated that with those unprecedented achievements, Governor Bello has etched his name in gold in the history of Kogi State House of Assembly.

The Clerk also praised the Governor for the people- oriented and developmental projects executed in the last seven years of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration in the state, pointing out that the projects are unparalleled.

While mentioning the projects to include the first fly over in Lokoja, several township network road constructions, series of developments in the education sector, the establishment of the reference hospital which is the best in Africa and many other projects across the state, he urged the Governor to continue to execute more legacy projects in the state.

He prayed God to continue to grant the governor more wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state in the last lap of his administration.
