Faleke Bags Grand-Star Award, Appeals For More Infrastructure in Okun Land

The Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke has bagged the highest Award in his home town, Ekinrin Adde in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

 

Recall that the Federal Lawmaker had facilitated several kilometres of road projects to many Communities including Ekinrin Adde, empowered many and financed free medical treatments across Okun land.

 

The Olu Adde of Ekinrin Adde, Olu Anthony Bamigbaiye presented the Award to the Federal Lawmaker at the 2024 Ekinrin Adde Day.

 

The Award was meant to be presented to Hon. Faleke, a former Deputy Governorship Election in Kogi 2015 Governorship Election in 2022 edition of the Festival but he couldn’t make it.

 

The Ekinrin Adde paramount Ruler in his remarks said the award was in recognition of Hon. Faleke’s immense contributions to the development of the Community.

 

He described him as an Ambassador of the community, doing well in the Green Chamber as well as the nation at large.

 

The Federal Lawmaker, accompanied by his loyalist both within and outside the State, expressed appreciation to the Community for the honour done him, describing it as a call for more service to God and humanity.

 

Hon. Faleke had called on Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to prioritize development of Okun land and Kogi West at large as the District is in need of infrastructure.

 

He also used the occasion to express appreciation to the people of Kogi State for the overwhelming support given to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2023 presidential election.
