Kogi UniJos Alumni Visit Head of Service, Applaud Civil Service Reforms

The Kogi State chapter of University of Jos Alumni, paid a courtesy visit to one of their own, Mr Elijah Evinemi.

 

The Exco was led by the Chairman of the chapter, Pharm. Sam Omale, Secretary General, Comrade Segun Medupin, and the Chapter Treasurer, Mrs. Motunrayo Kowontan.

 

The team was received by the Head of Service and his team, Permanent Secretary in charge of Administration and Public Services, Celestine Idoko, Mrs Elizabeth Oloruntoba, Permanent Secretary Establishment and Training, Mrs. Shuaibu Memunat, Permanent Secretary Research, Evaluation and Policy Analysis.

The Alumni Chairman congratulated the Head of Service on his appointment, stating how his positive and humble leadership has influenced the civil service system and particularly in the recent screening of the permanent secretary and directors which was devoid of political influence and mediocrity.

In his remarks, the head of service thanked all present and the entire chapter alumni for the honour and recognition, he ceased the opportunity to acknowledge his team for the good team spirit exhibited so far, and hopes for more.

 

He also promised to associate with the university of Jos Alumni and leave up to expectations of bringing the alumni to greater heights.
