Bajana of Obajana Receives Appointment Letter As 2nd Class Chief, Appreciates Gov. Bello

The Bajana of Obajana in Lokoja Local Government of Kogi State, Oba Idowu Isenibi has received his appointment letter as a 2nd Class Chief.

The State Executive Council had approved the grading and upgrading of over 300 Traditional stools recently including that of the Bajana of Obajana.

The Obajana paramount ruler while reacting to the appointment, expressed appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for finding him working of the elevation.

According to Oba Isenibi, the promotion is a clear demonstration of the believe of the Governor in equity, justice and fairness and justice.

In his words, “I want to cease this golden opportunity to return all glory and adoration to Almighty God the Giver of life for making this day a reality. I sincerely appreciate the Government of Kogi State ably led by His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.”

He particularly thanked the Member representing Kogi/Lokoja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Jon. Suleiman Aguye and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Hon. Aliyu Umar for their support to the realisation of the upgrade.

*Let me also acknowledge the efforts of everyone (whose names are too numerous to mention) that has contributed one way or the other in ensuring the upgrading of the Traditional Stool of Bajana to 2nd Class Status.

He added that “The sons and daughters of Obajana – Oworo Community in Lokoja Local Government of Kogi State will forever be grateful for the recognition accorded to the Kingdom by the New Direction Government.
