In a statement signed by Mubeen Musa, Hon. Salman’s senior aide, the Honourable member commended President Tinubu who magnanimously signed the new minimum wage bill into law.

He used the opportunity to appreciate former Governor Yahaya Bello for the civil service reform during his tenure which created an enabling environment for a seamless governance of Kogi state.

The Kogi State Government has also announced the suspension of all taxation elements attached to the new minimum wage for civil servants for the next 12 months, providing further relief to workers.
