The Chairman of Hafsat And Hammed Oil And Gas, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim has congratulated Kogi State Governor-Elect, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo on the occasion of his birthday.
Alh. Haruna in a congratulatory message sent to The Drum Reporter on Monday describes Alh. Ododo as a man whose presence electrifies friendliness and humility.
The statement reads “In an environment where men who wield power and influence are notorious for display of arrogance, there exists a man whose presence electrifies friendliness and humility. From an humble beginning, OAU, as Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is fondly called, rose to prominence in the murky waters of Nigerian politics through a dint of hard work, self-discipline, and rare display of professionalism in the arts and science of Accounting procedures.”
“Alhaji Ododo, the Kogi State Governor-Elect, is warm-hearted almost to a fault. Regardless of your socio-economic status, Alhaji Ododo will relate with you amiably. As a matter of fact, he doesn’t have to know you from Adam before setting the ball of conviviality in motion when engaging you.
It further states that “Before he got his party’s ticket to contest for the governorship of Kogi State in 2023, Alhaji Ododo had served the government of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the architect of modern Kogi State, as Local Government Auditor General. For some years, he held sway in that capacity, Alhaji Ododo served diligently and meritoriously. Little wonder his boss, against all odds, had to reconfigure the physics and chemistry of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure the emergence of the Okene-born politician as the party’s governorship candidate in the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.
