Following the appointment of Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim, a Business Mogul as Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, the Ologidi of Ogidi land, Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule has expressed his profound appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello and the Governor-Elect, Alhaji Usman Ododo.
Oba Sule in a statement said the entire Ogidi community received the news with all joy as the new Caretaker Chairman is an illustrious and distinguished son of the Community, who has regard for Elders and the young.
According to him, Alh. Haruna as a successful businessman will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his responsibility.
He stated that with the gesture, Governor Bello has again made Ogidi Community proud as the appointment is coming a few months after his elevation as a first class Chief.
Oba Sule expressed hope that the Appointee will use his new position to promote peace and tranquility which are hallmarks of development and progress.
He also thanked the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Alh. Usman Ododo, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Salami Ozigi and Stakeholders of the Local Government for their interest in a greater Ijumu Local Government.
The Traditional Ruler enjoined Ijumu sons and daughters to support Alh. Haruna with prayer and the necessary things needed for development of the Local Government.
