36 PEG Supports Calls by Hon. Nihi’s  for Kogi Youths to Look Beyond White Collar Jobs

The President of 36 Political Elevation Group (36 PEG), Prince Dan Olaitan Dada, has commended the recent declaration by Hon. Nihi to Kogi youths that the time to wait for government sponsored feeding is over.

Reacting to the call, the 36 PEG President notes that this statement is a courageous call for self-reliance and a necessary shift from dependency to dignity.

It is truth spoken plainly, and truth is the foundation of reform. Government cannot feed 220 million Nigerians forever, and it is right for leadership to prepare citizens for productivity rather than perpetual handouts. For this boldness, 36 PEG offers public commendation.

36 Political Elevation Group exists on two mandates. First, to praise good work of good leadership wherever it appears. Second, to speak for citizens, especially when leadership actions must be matched with structures that protect the people.

On the first mandate, we praise Hon. Nihi for speaking truth to power and truth to youths. On the second mandate, 36 PEG speaks for Kogi youths by urging that this powerful message be paired with visible capacity. A call to “stand up” must come with tools to stand. A call to *“produce” must come with training benches, skills factories, SME clusters, and transparent access to capital.

Youths do not reject responsibility. Youths reject systems that remove feeding bowls without replacing them with production factories. “No feeding” must therefore become “now we build”. Let Kogi State lead by example by turning this declaration into training hubs across LGAs, market access for small businesses, and capital support systems that youths can see, touch, and trust.

36 PEG stands ready to partner Kogi State Government pro bono on documentation and advocacy for youth capacity programmes that translate bold statements into visible opportunities. This is the 36 PEG way – praising what is right, and speaking for citizens where more must be done.
