Kogi born Philanthropist, Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji says power shift to Okun land is Sacrosanct after the completion of the eight year term of current Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Asiwaju Olusoji while speaking at the grand reception to mark his Defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Iyara, headquarters of Ijumu Local Government Area.
Flanked by the member representing Kabba-Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency, Arc. Salman Idris, State APC Chairman, Alh. Abdullahi Bello, Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade and top government functionaries, Asiwaju Olusoji noted that the Governor can be trusted for power shift, hence the need to support his re-election bid come 2027.
He promised that he will do everything humanly possible to support Governor Bello to win his re-election and make Kogi State great.

The Philanthropist told the Governor to ignore the news emanating in some quarters of Okun land that they will not support his re-election, pointing out that “No Vacancy in Lugard House.”
While thanking the Governor, his political appointees and leadership of the party for the support given him since he joined the party, Asiwaju Olusoji appealed to the Chief Servant not to let Okun people down as they have absolute confidence in him.
According to him, the empowerment is just a tip of the iceberg, saying as from January next year, he will move from one Local Government to another for mega empowerment.
He told the gathering not to be deceived as Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency is not coming to contest election in Kogi State.

Items such as motorcycles, sewing machines, deep freezers, grinding machines among others were distributed as empowerment for beneficiaries.
