The Action Alliance candidate in the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh has congratulated the newly inaugurated President of the Kogi State Chamber of Commerce (KOCCIMA) Chief Femi Ajisafe.

Speaking at the event recently held in Lokoja, the state capital, Olayinka Braimoh said, “I congratulate Chief Ajisafe on this well-deserved appointment. I also congratulate the  Kogi State Chambers of Commerce (KOCCIMA) on the successful transition of power to another executive council”

Braimoh, who delivered a keynote address at the event, talked about his STAT agenda and the need to have a strategic partnership with KOCCIMA when he becomes the State’s Governor. He said, “My government will, no doubt, establish a strategic partnership with KOCCIMA. The Trade in my STAT agenda will boost commerce in Kogi State because we are centrally located such that we serve as a link between the North and the South. I will make the State a trading hub where goods presently being sold at the two regions are made available in Kogi State. Traders, buyers, and sellers will no longer have to travel to those regions before they can get their needs. They will invariably meet in Kogi State for their respective transactions. This will also help our hospitality and tourism sectors to grow profitably

“Sir, your election and investiture as the President of KOCCIMA is timely because, the strategic partnership with your group will help, in no small measure, to reduce poverty and ostensibly bring prosperity to the state and our people in general.
