The State Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), has expressed deep sadness over the passing of HRH Olu Christopher Abodunde Omolewa, the Oluhale of Ihale Kingdom.

In a condolence message on Saturday, Commander Omodara described the late monarch as a highly respected traditional ruler, a custodian of culture and a father figure whose reign brought peace, unity and development to Ihale Kingdom.

He noted that the Oluhale was a man of wisdom, humility and integrity whose contributions to the growth of Bunuland and Kogi State at large will never be forgotten. His demise, he said, is a great loss not only to Ihale Kingdom but to the entire Okun nation.

Commander Omodara commiserated with the Omolewa Royal Family, the Council of Chiefs, the Ihale Development Association and the entire Ihale Community, over the painful loss.

He prayed that the Almighty God will grant the royal family and the people of Ihale the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and grant the soul of the departed monarch eternal rest.
