In continuation of his familiarization visits to communities, the Transition Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu Local Government was at Ayetoro Gbede in company of his Aides.
Upon arrival, the Chairman was received by a Community Leader, Chief Bariga, Kehinde Owonibi.
The Team proceeded to the market square, where Alhaji Haruna inspected the deplorable condition of the market, the two main gate, two pedestrians gate, toilets and the abandoned pipe born water.
Worried by the poor condition of the Market, the caretaker Chairman immediately directed the rehabilitation of the two main gates and two pedestrians gates.
Alhaji Haruna assured that the local government will renovate the toilets and motorized boreholes to serve the market users and the host community.
“We are committed to quality representation at all times, and we will ensure that the welfare of our people is prioritized. God bless everyone for cooperating with us,” the council chairman said.
The caretaker Chairman, who interacted with some of traders, promised to support their businesses to grow as they expressed joy over the cheering News.
They promised to support him and the State Government and prayed for him and his entire cabinet members to succeed.
In a similar vein, the caretaker Chairman met with the leadership of Nigeria Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Ayetoro Gbede branch, where he promised to give their GarageBand facelift.
The Chairman of the Union, Mr Benjamin Kayode thanked Alh. Haruna for identifying with them and pledged their loyalty to the caretaker Chairman.
