The leading APC aspirant for the Kogi State House of Assembly seat representing Ijumu Constituency, Hon. Obanewo Titus Femi (OTF), has called on Kogites to rally round the President of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of the State, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to secure a second term in office.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, the philanthropist disclosed that he is rooting for what he described as continuity of purposeful leadership, by the two great men.

“As our beloved President is turning Nigeria around and Governor Ododo marks two years in office, it is increasingly clear that continuity of purposeful leadership remains vital for consolidating the gains already recorded”, he said.

He noted that the present administration of PBAT in Nigeria and Governor Ododo in Kogi state has, within twenty-four months, demonstrated “calm direction, institutional stability, and renewed focus on security, infrastructure, and people-centred governance.”

He argued that, “these are foundations that require time to mature, and progress that deserves reinforcement, not disruption.”

In his words, “From strengthened security coordination to renewed engagement within Nigerians and communities within Kogi State and improved delivery of public services, both Asiwaju and Ododo’s administration has shown a readiness to confront challenges with pragmatic solutions.”

While reminding Nigerians and Kogites that the path to sustainable development is rarely instant, but steady leadership, he stressed that consistent policy execution, and strategic planning are already yielding visible results in the nation, most especially in Kogi State and called on all and sundry to support the PBAT and Governor Ododo for a second term in office.

“A second term in office for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Usman Ododo offers the opportunity to deepen these reforms and expand their impact for our people to fully enjoy the benefits,” he said.

The lawmaker hopeful also expressed belief that effective governance thrives when vision meets continuity pointing out that supporting sustained leadership is not about personalities but about protecting momentum, securing development investments, and ensuring that long-term projects reach completion rather than abandonment.

While congratulating the people of Nigeria and Kogi State at large for 24 months of steady progress under viable leaderships, he charged them to be patient, supportive and optimistic expressing belief that the future holds stronger institutions, safer communities, and broader opportunities for growth.

“The journey has begun, now is the time for all of us to remain focused and committed to ensuring that our President and amiable Governor gets a second term in office. This next phase demands collaboration, patience, and collective commitment to stability,” he concluded.
