Subsidy Removal: Helpline Foundation Partners RTA Foundation, Distribute Non-profit Revolving Loan For Vulnerable Women In Kogi

Helpline Foundation, in collaboration with RTA Foundation has distributed the sum of twenty thousand naira cash for over 20 market women in Adavi Local Government Area of the State.

The programme was flagged off on Saturday, the 5th August, 2023, at Ebira Community Secondary School in Nagazi axis of the local government, and it was coordinated by Hajiya Rekiyat Ahuoiza Fache.

According to her, it is a non-profit revolving loan scheme sponsored by these two foundations to provide start-up capital for the needy and vulnerable women so as to ultimately promote their businesses.

Hajiya Rekiyat warned that the beneficiaries should make judicious use of the money for the purpose which it was meant for. While praying for its profitability, she urged them not to use the money for luxuries things that will not benefit them.

Responding, the representatives and Cluster leaders of Okunchi and Idanuwha communities, Mrs Bose Isah and Madam Musili Obobauja, thanked the sponsors of the scheme, Dr. Jumai Ahmadu and Dr. Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, for the gesture and promised to make judicious use of the loan, whilst assuring that their team will never disappoint the foundations.

Highlight of the programme was a courtesy visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Ado Ibrahim, CON, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, who prayed for continued elevation of Dr. Jumai Ahmadu and Dr. Ramatu Tijani Aliyu for the kind gesture.
