The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba has expressed appreciation to the State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for taking time to visit Ogale/Aduge Ward on Condolence visit to the Ward and family of Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Ijumu Local Government Chapter, Hon. Solomon Mayowa Oyewole.
Dr. Fashagba in a statement noted that the Ward is humbled by the demonstration of love by the Governor to the Family and Leaders of the Party, describing his humility deposition as unique and legendary.
The Provost also expressed the gratitude of the Ward to Governor Ododo for granting scholarship to the Children of the late APC Chairman, saying the gesture has made the Chief Servant to write his name in Gold and in the heart of the family.
According to him, the Governor has with the visit and scholarship proven that the Labour of Party members are not in vain.
The visit was a solemn gathering that enabled Governor Ododo to express condolences to the family of the late Honourable Solomon, who served meritoriously as the Local Government Party Chairman for Ijumu.
The atmosphere was filled with a sense of community and shared grief as the people of Ogale-Aduge Ward warmly welcomed the Chief Servant, who took the time to connect with the residents, acknowledging their support and commitment.
The Governor while addressing supporters publicly announced Dr. Fashagba Paul Femi as his Mentor, having lectured him at the Federal Polytechnic Bida in Niger State.
This endorsement highlighted Dr. Fashagba’s character, portraying him as a man of integrity and good conscience, someone who has consistently demonstrated a commitment to the betterment of the community.
The gathering served not only as a tribute to the late Honourable Oyewole but also as a rallying call for unity and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State and across Nigeria.
