A Philanthropist cum Grassroots Politician, Dr. APS Arogundade was on Thursday conferred with a Merit Award as Kogi Most Outstanding Humanitarian Man of the Year by Exposure Newspaper.
Dr. Arogundade was among prominent persons in Kogi State that have impacted positively on the lives of the people as part of activities marking the 10th Anniversary of the Tabloid.

The Honour is coming few weeks after the Philanthropist was confered with an International Humanitarian Award by Women’s Effects Initiative International WEII in Lagos.
Represented by the Coordinator, APS Youth Foundation, Hon. Solomon Oyewole, the Grassroots Politician thanked the Media outfit for recognizing his modest contribution to humanity through his NGO, APS Youth Foundation.
According to him, he has been running a sustainable youths and widows empowerment in the years past as his was of giving back to the society.
Dr. Arogundade, stated that the honour is a call to action and recognition that the society values his little contributions to student scholarship, youth and widows empowerment.
Dr. Arogundade noted that the honour will spur him to do more for humanity and commended the Exposure Newspaper for recognizing his modest contribution to uplifting the wellbeing of the down trodden.
He also pledged to continue to see media as partners in progress.
