Dr. Fashagba Bags Radio Kogi at 35 Leadership Award

The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba FCNA has been conferred with a Leadership Award by Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation also known as Radio Kogi.

 

The Award was conferred as part of activities marking the milestone 35 Anniversary of the Radio as the Provost was the only Head of Institution nominated for the Award.

Presenting the Award in her office on Tuesday, the Director General of the Corporation, Princess Nana Hauwa Yussuf said the honour was in utmost recognition of his exemplary leadership, Visionary impact, remarkable dedication and consistent pursuit of excellence, serving as inspiration and role models to others.

 

Responding, the Provost expressed appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the opportunity to add value to the State especially in the Education sector and the management of the Radio for the honour done to him.

 

Dr. Fashagba expressed satisfaction with the outstanding performance of the Radio Kogi Director General, saying her capacity has shown that women have the capacity to deliver any mandate given to them if given the opportunity.

“Your appointment and your time in this place speaks value. You have brought a lot of differences. You have used the value God deposited in you to ease things and make things work in Radio Kogi. We are proud of you.

 

He described the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as that of fairness, adding values to the generality of the State and bringing succour to the people.

 

According to him, the success story of the present administration is not complete without mentioning the indelible contributions of the Princess Nana Hauwa led Radio Kogi.

 

He added that the College will continue to partner with the Radio towards producing human resources for enhanced basic education in the State.
