As the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Prof. Usman Salisu Ogbo marks the end of his first Tenure, Provost of the State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Femi Paul Fashagba has described the last four years of the Rector as eventful and remarkable.
Dr. Fashagba while congratulating the Rector for achieving great feats in the last four years, said he has given the Polytechnic a face lift, increasing confidence of the people in the College.
He acknowledged the support of the immediate Governor of the State, Alh. Yahaya Bello and the incumbent, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for providing the needed political will and support for the Rector to thrive.
“I wish to join well meaning People of Kogi State and Nigerians to celebrate with an Achiever, Prof. Usman Salisu Ogbo, the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic for the successful completion of his first Tenure which has been remarkable with commendable achievements.
The Provost applauded the Rector for being fearless in tackling the challenges he met on ground which has now made the Polytechnic to take its rightful place among Committee of Tertiary Institutions.
While wishing Prof. Ogbo a memorable and successful second tenure in office, prayed for more wisdom to move the Polytechnic to greater heights.
