It was glitz and glamour as the Managing Director of Golden Legacy Hotels and Resorts, Dr. Emmanuel Dare Otitolaiye, and his wife, Mrs. Olufunso Otitolaiye, were over the weekend honoured with prestigious chieftaincy titles by the Olu-Adde of Ekinrin-Adde, His Royal Majesty, Oba Anthony Bamigbaye Idowu.
The couple were conferred with the titles of Otunba Gbeluro of Ekinrin-Adde and Yeye Gbeluro of Ekinrin-Adde at this year’s Ekinrin-Adde Day celebration, which was attended by top government functionaries, captains of industry, as well as friends and family of the honourees.

The recognition was in appreciation of Dr. Otitolaiye’s invaluable investment in the hospitality sector and his dogged participation in community development as President of the Egbeda-Egga Development Union (EDU), alongside his wife’s role as President of the EDU Women’s Wing.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Ekinrin-Adde paramount ruler described Dr. Otitolaiye as humility personified, noting his passion for the development of Egbeda-Egga, Ijumu Kingdom, and Kogi State at large.
According to the monarch, the chieftaincy title recipient and his wife have distinguished themselves as agents of empowerment, creating jobs for youths and economically empowering women within their community.
Oba Bamigbaye further described Dr. Otitolaiye as an outstanding Okun man who believes in bringing development to his community, noting that Ekinrin-Adde has continued to enjoy the excellent services of his hotel.
While praying for more blessings upon the recipient and his wife, the monarch urged them to continue adding value to society.
Responding, Dr. Otitolaiye expressed appreciation to the Olu Adde and the entire Ekinrin Adde in Council for the honour, assuring that he will not disappoint the Community.
