The National President of the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS), Hajia Lami Adamu Lau has urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of renewal and reconciliation.

Easter is a season of immense significance,” Lau said. “It is a message of hope, reminding us that even in the face of darkness, light will prevail.

Adamu-Lau emphasized the importance of Easter values in building a stronger Nigeria. “This Easter, let us rededicate ourselves to the values Easter embodies: love, compassion, forgiveness, and service to others,” she said. “Let us strive to build bridges across ethnic and religious divides, and work together for a more peaceful, prosperous, and just Nigeria.”

The NCWS National President also highlighted the message of Easter for Nigerian women. “For our women, Easter is a time to reflect on the strength and resilience we possess,” Lau stated. “Let us draw inspiration from the story of the women who followed Jesus to the cross and were the first witnesses to his resurrection.”

Adamu-Lau concluded her message by calling for Nigerians to help those less fortunate. “As we celebrate, let us also spare a thought for the less fortunate among us. Let us reach out to those in need and share the blessings of this season,” she said.
