FPB Rector Harps on Unity, Peace, as Muslims celebrate Eid-il-kabir

Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Dr Abubakar A. Dzukogi has tasked Muslims across the country to forge a common front for the unity and peaceful coexistence of the nation.

A statement issued by the Rector’s Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Communication, Abdulkadir Abdullahi Yahaya, quoted the Rector as saying, “as Muslims celebrate Eid Adha today, we hereby call on them to be more united and cultivate habits which promote peace at all times.”

“This practice” the Rector further said, “is because no meaningful development can occur in an environment where there is no peace.”

He therefore appealed to Muslims to use the lessons of “this season to offer more sacrifices for the overall development of their immediate communities and humanity.”
