The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom and Chairman Ijumu Local Government Traditional Council, Oba Dr Williams Olusegun Ayeni has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo on their inauguration to pilot the affairs of the State in the next 4 years.
Oba Ayeni in a congratulatory message he personally signed, said the emergence of the new leaders of the State is divine as no one can lead without the involvement of God.
The message reads “On behalf of members of Ijumu Local Government Traditional Council and the people of Ijumu Local Government, I HRM. Oba Dr. Williams Olusegun Ayeni JP, the Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom heartily felicitate with His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo on his inauguration as the fifth Executive Governor of Kogi State”.
“There’s no doubt that you are God sent and your victory is an act of Almighty God. We believe that Kogi will be more united under your leadership and we are optimistic that your administration will be successful, fruitful and productive.
“May Almighty God grant you wisdom and good health to move our dear State to an enviable height of Development, peace and prosperity. To His Excellency, the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Oyibo, congratulations.
He further states that “You can always count on the loyalty and support of Ijumu people and we look forward to seeing massive government presence in our land.
Oba Ayeni also congratulated the immediate past Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on the successful completion of his second tenure.
“We also congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on the successful completion of his second term tenure and wish his all the best in his future endeavors.
“Also, we appreciate your Your Excellency on the appointments of our sons, Hon. Sunday Faleke as Commissioner Designate and Comrade Oladele John Nihi as Chief Press Secretary.
We assured you that these men will no doubt justify the confidence reposed in them as they have the capacity to deliver in any task given them.
