Hon. Funsho Emmanuel Olorunfemi, JP, the Obajana of Owe Land, has expressed profound gratitude to all who stood by the Olorunfemi/Feyisetan family during the funeral of his late wife, Mrs. Feyisetan Funsho.
In an appreciation message issued on October 8, 2026, Olorunfemi thanked Almighty God for a hitch-free ceremony and for journey mercies granted to all dignitaries, friends and well-wishers who came from far and near.
He specially appreciated the clergy led by the Lord Bishop of Kabba Diocese, Rt. Rev. S. K. Akobe, PhD, Ven. Elijah, other Reverends, as well as the Choir and members of St. Michael Anglican Church, Otu.
The family also thanked royal fathers including the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Area Traditional Council, Oba Dele Owoniyi, the Obadofin of Owe Land, Obajemu Elect of Owe Land, and the Obas of Odolu, Gbeleko, Kakun, Otu and Iduge.
Olorunfemi expressed special gratitude to his political leader, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, for his constant support, and to Senator Steve Karimi who he said changed his flight ticket to attend the burial despite his financial support.
He also thanked Dr. Idris Oluwafemi Rufus (Idrufem), ADC candidate for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Arch. Salman Idris, APC candidate for the same constituency, the Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu LGA, Hon. Dare Zaccheaus and his cabinet, APC Chairman in Kabba/Bunu, Hon. Abiodun Kobere and other party leaders.
Other groups acknowledged include the Kogi State Coordinator and Directors of WWT/Karim, LGA and Ward Coordinators, Kabba/Bunu APC Women Leaders, Kabba market women, CAN groups, Drivers Union, Okada and Tricycle riders in Kabba, friends, in-laws and neighbours.
He prayed that God rewards everyone abundantly and grants safe return to their various destinations.
