Homecoming: Abejide Promises Yagba Youths N500m Business Grants

The Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Elder Leke Abejide, has pledged N500 Million to empower youths across the 74 communities in Yagba Federal Constituency to start and grow their small-scale businesses.

 

Hon. Abejide made the pledge at his Homecoming ceremony at Itodo Open Field, Yagba East, Kogi State.

 

He said the initiative is to help young people become self-reliant, create jobs and drive community development.

The lawmaker also declared full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for their re-election in 2027, saying their administrations are committed to development and people’s welfare.

 

Earlier, Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, commended Abejide for his sustained support for widows and students in the constituency.

 

Chairman of Yagba West and ALGON Chairman Kogi State, Hon. Tosin Olokun, also assured that Yagba people will support President Tinubu and Hon. Abejide in 2027.

 

Hon. Emmanuel Obaro called on youths to unite and support the APC, describing it as the winning team.

 

Leaders, traditional rulers, women, youths and supporters across Yagba Federal Constituency attended the event.
