The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has expressed condolence to  Hon. Justice Alexander Oluseyi Owoeye, Judge, Federal High Court, Akure Judicial Division over the death of his father, Late Chief Joseph Olanrenwaju Owoeye.

Gov. Aiyedatiwa in a Condolence letter he personally signed dated 23rd May 2024 and addressed to Justice Owoeye, described the death of Chief Owoeye as a great loss.

The letter reads “We received with deep sense of loss the news of the demise of your lordship’s father; the late Chief Joseph Olanrewaju Owoeye who joined his forebears on Monday, 11th March, 2024 at the age of 74 years.

“The late Chief Owoeye was, undoubtedly, a man of substance who would be sorely missed by all of you, her children and acquaintances. His contributions to the development of IsanluLand as the Atobase of the ancient town cannot be forgotten in a hurry, notwithstanding the number of years he lived, he nevertheless, enjoyed the grace and mercy of God Almighty to live long enough, to witness the success of his children in their chosen careers, especially your lordship.

“I therefore heartily commiserate with your lordship and every member of the Owoeye Dynasty for surviving your patriarch.
