The Deputy Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon. Sunday Faleke on Monday congratulates the Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim popularly known as Slake and 20 other Caretaker Chairmen on their appointment by Governor Yahaya Bello.
Hon. Faleke in a statement made available to Newsmen described the appointees and men of proven integrity and track record of dedication, hard work in their respective careers and the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in the State.
According to him, the choice of the 21 Local Government Caretaker Chairmen is thoughtful and a step in the right direction and expressed optimism in their capacity to justify the confidence reposed in them to lead the third tier of Government.
He enjoined the New Caretaker Chairmen to see their respective appointments as a call to serve rural dwellers, the APC and the State, urging them to use their new office to promote peace in their domains.
The Deputy Chief of Staff expressed optimism that the Ijumu Local Government Area Caretaker Chairman will use his office to unite the people of the Local Government.
He prayed God to grant them the wisdom and good health to move the Local Government to enviable height of peace, progress and development.
