Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has appointed Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba as the Provost, Kogi State College of Education Ankpa.
Dr. Fashagba was the former Director Academic Planning, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State.
The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade while presenting the appointment letter to the New Provost said the appointment takes effect from March.
She congratulated Dr. Fashagba, on his appointment which she described as well deserved, urging him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the promotion of academic excellence in the State.
In an interview, the Provost, Dr. Femi Fashagba said he only came to celebrate the first Anniversary of the Governor before he was informed of his appointment.
He said having served for about 26 years in the Academic in different capacities, he is ready to bring changes that the Governor and the entire people of the State will be proud of.
Dr. Fashagba while thanking Governor Ododo for the confidence reposed in him with the appointment, promised not to disappoint the trust by redoubling the Standard of the College.
He added that he will be going to the College to serve and add value to the education sector of the State by producing teachers that the State and the country will be proud of.
