Ododo who stated that the Judiciary is the last hope of a common man, urged the judges to ensure that they treat every body equally in order to enhance peaceful society.

“A just and fair society is where every body is treated equally regardless of class, religion and ethnicity. Therefore you must be reminded and be guided by the oats you have taken” he said.

The Governor who stated that the new Judges are men and women of unquestionable character, assured that he would not interfere with their activities to enable them discharge their duties within the ambit of the law.

“My administration will provide and support you to discharge your statutory responsibility. I am offering you vehicles to enhance your mobility and I will also guarantee your safety in view of the nature of your job” the Governor assured.

He called on the people of the State to support the laudable policies and programmes of the federal government to enable President Bola Tinubu to lift Nigerians from the inherited difficulties.

The Chief Judge of the State, Hon. Justice Josiah Majebi in his remark, charged the new judges to respect the integrity of the litigants, noting that as a minister of justice they should shun media trial of any body.

While expressing appreciation to Governor Ododo for his support to the Judiciary, the Chief Judge urged the family members of the new judges not to interfere with their job.

In his remark, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kogi State Muiz Abdallah charged the judges to showcase their worth to justify their selection as judges of the state.

He urged them to be up and doing and shun activities that will ridicule the Judiciary, appealing to them to put the interest of the state over and above any other interest in the discharge of their duties.
