Ijumu LG Boss Joins Muslim Faithful in Ogidi For Eid-el-Fitr, Calls for Unity, Love, and Security Awareness

The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna, joined fellow Muslim faithful in observing the Eid-el-Fitr prayer at the Ogidi Eid ground, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

 

Alhaji Haruna, who was accompanied by his aides, including his Vice and other appointees, used the occasion to offer prayers for peace, progress, and unity in Ijumu Local Government and Kogi State at large.

He expressed gratitude to his mentor and benefactor, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and prayed for the success of his administration.

 

The Chairman urged residents to remain committed to serving God beyond the holy month, emphasizing that there is never a wrong time to do what is right.

 

Furthermore, he encouraged individuals, groups, and communities to be vigilant, report any suspicious activities to security agencies or their representatives, and foster unity and cooperation within their neighborhoods.

 

Alhaji Haruna reaffirmed his absolute dedication to the service of the people of Ijumu through prompt and adequate response to their needs.
