Ijumu LGA Caretaker Chairman Commences Grading of Rural Roads

The Transition Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna (DSTV), has commenced the grading of the Ogidi-Ayere Road which has been in a dilapidated state for years.

 

The Chairman while speaking during an inspection visit to the 3 Kilometres road, noted that the move was to provide succour to the sufferings of the people of both communities.

Alhaji Haruna, who was conducted round by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Henry Sunday Ibiyeye and some stakeholders in the community, said the road will ensure easy access between  Ayere and Ogidi.

According to him, he was moved by the plight of farmers and people of the Communities, hence the grading of the road.

The Chairman also added that with the grading of the road, business a d farming activities will receive a boost, while promising to extend the gesture to other communities.

He however assured the people of Ijumu Kingdom of his commitment to continue to serve them with the fear of God.
