Ijumu Women Council Pays Condolence Visit To NAIC MD Over Death of Mother

The Ijumu Women Council, a group of hardworking and distinguished women from Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State has expressed its condolences to Mrs. Folashade Joseph, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation, on the recent passing of her mother, Chief (Mrs) G.F. Omoniwa.

 

National President of the Council, Chief Olufunmilayo Bodunde, the Yeye Oba of Iyara, who led some members of the Women Group to the residence of  Mrs. Joseph in Abuja described the death of Chief G.F Omoniwa as a great loss.

Chief Bodunde stated that, “Death is certain end of all mortals and inevitable. Every soul shall experience death. However, we find solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilled life, which assures us that her soul is peacefully resting in the embrace of our Creator.”

 

She also encouraged Mrs. Joseph to carry on her mother’s legacy of purposeful and fruitful living.

In addition to offering their condolences, the Ijumu Women Council took the opportunity to discuss various ideas and potential initiatives to promote the growth and development of Ijumu Kingdom.

 

These discussions were fruitful, and the group is now preparing to implement these ideas in the near future. The Ijumu Women Council is committed to working together to improve the lives of the people in their community.

Responding, Mrs. Folashade Joseph thanked the Council for identifying with her family in their moment of grief, saying it is painful to lose a mother.
