The President of 36 Political Elevation Group (36 PEG), Prince Dan Olaitan Dada has expressed his disappointment over a statement credited to one Jacob Oluwatobiloba Israel casting aspersions on the Deputy Governor of Kwara State.

Prince Dan in a statement through the Director General of the Group, Comrade Sanmi Isola Oluleye condemned in strong terms the language used by Israel in a letter to the Deputy Governor concerning the insecurity challenges in Kwara South Senatorial District.

The statement reads, “As an organization committed to promoting good governance, we believe in constructive criticism and respectful dialogue. The letter’s language, particularly the phrase _”GO BACK TO YOUR DESOLATE VILLAGE, DON’T COME AND DESTROY THIS PLACE ALSO,” is unacceptable and uncalled for.”

As a public official, Deputy Governor Alabi is entitled to respect and dignity, regardless of disagreements with his policies or actions. We acknowledge the concerns raised about the security situation in Oro Ago, but we cannot condone the use of inflammatory language or personal attacks. The Deputy Governor has been working to address the challenges facing his community, and it’s unfair to dismiss his efforts.

According to him, “As the number two citizen of Kwara State, Deputy Governor Alabi has a critical role in promoting peace, stability, and development. We urge citizens to engage with him and his team in a respectful and constructive manner.”

He noted that the Deputy Governor’s efforts to address security concerns in Oro Ago should be acknowledged and supported while Constructive criticism is welcome, but inflammatory language has no place in our discourse.

He called on all stakeholders to work together to address the challenges facing Kwara State, saying the people of Oro Ago deserve peace, security, and development, and should will work towards achieving this goal.

We distance ourselves from the tone and content of the letter and call on all stakeholders to join us in promoting a culture of respect, dialogue, and cooperation.
